5th Grade- A "great job" goes to grade 5 on their well written restaurant dialogues and presentations, ordering authentic foods from Spain and México. Beautiful pictures depicting foods ordered in the dialogues. ¡Tengo mucha hambre!
5th Grade- "El ciclo de vida de la planta" final projects "blossoming in the garden"!!! Great unit connecting to other curricular areas, and the "5 C's of World Language". Many connections to the Science CCSS and district curriculum.
Grade 5- Students celebrate Hispanic Heritage month in September. Great job, and they learned about many new faces across all fields of work!
2nd Grade- Literacy units from "Estrellitas" and the five vowels. Great job practicing syllables, blending, fluency, accuracy, and comprehension. Very artistically talented students!
5th Grade- Unit on "La playa" and project "Los animales acuáticos". Great practice of three part sentences and adjectives in Spanish!
6th Grade- Beginning of the year project ¿Se habla español? for parent open house. Student self exploration of the multiple benefits of learning a second language. 3rd Grade- "Mi animal favorito" project, following a Literacy connection to "Veloz como el grillo" full of similes and adjectives of description in Spanish. 2nd Grade- "Mi estación favorita" project, incorporating seasons, weather, temperature, and colors.
